WA in 2004 a was chatting to a friend about what i was going to spend my future doing, travelling. what about when you have a family and when Oil runs out. This was my first realisation about natural resources and out being environmentally conscious. It was then i decided to sail.

That Summer I hitch hiked to the South of France from the UK, then from Fiji to Indonesia. I got back to the UK and a friend and I bought a boat like this and planed to go to North Africa. It didn't work out, i didn't know how to sail around the world and the boat wasn't built for it. Late one night at a festival a woman i had grown up with was talking with me and her partner sailed big boats and said there was the possibility to get paid, they would bring me up to speed and i could live and work with them. With them i spent almost 3 years, it changed me forever, i had planned on staying a year, saving enough to buy a sea worthy vessel and train to get my  Yacht Masters ticket. I my wind faring family in the Pacific Ocean with a heavy heart .

Now i use a little boat and plod around the west Irish coast and run surf trips in the Indian Ocean for a Aussie Travel Company Liquid destination, they know the Maldives like no other operation and i really respect they love they have for their pocket of the world.
